Data We Don't Collect

Unlike most apps, we don't collect:

Your name, email, or phone number
Your location data
Your log entries or any content you create
Analytics about how you use the app
Advertising identifiers

Where Your Data Lives

All your data is stored locally on your device. When you log an entry, it never leaves your phone unless you explicitly choose to sync with a partner.

Partner Sync

If you choose to sync with a partner:

Data is encrypted end-to-end before transmission
We use a temporary relay server only to establish the initial connection
Once connected, data syncs directly between your devices
We cannot read or access your synced data

TOTP Authentication

Your Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) secret is:

Generated entirely on your device
Never transmitted to any server
Stored securely in your device's keychain/keystore

Crash Reports

If the app crashes, we may collect anonymous crash reports that contain:

Device type and OS version
App version
Stack trace (technical error information)

These reports never contain your personal data or log entries.

Third-Party Services

Keks Log does not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media services. We don't share any data with third parties.

Data Deletion

Since we don't store your data on our servers, deleting the app removes all your data. If you've synced with a partner, they will retain their copy of the shared data.

Children's Privacy

Keks Log is intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 18.
